Condition guide

Every card is graded by hand under a daylight lamp, front and back, before it is listed. We grade conservatively: if a card sits between two grades, it gets the lower one.

Near Mint (NM)

Looks unplayed. No whitening on the edges or corners, no scratches on the surface or the foil, no bends. Very slight print lines from the factory are allowed because they are on every copy. Vault cards are NM unless the listing says otherwise.

Lightly Played (LP)

A card that has seen a few games in sleeves. Minor edge or corner whitening, a light scuff or two on the surface, nothing that is visible at arm's length. Tournament-legal in a sleeve.

Moderately Played (MP)

Clear wear: whitening on several edges, visible surface scratches, a small crease that does not break the surface. Plays fine in an opaque sleeve.

Heavily Played (HP)

Heavy wear, creases, water marks or a mark that shows through a sleeve. Sold only on request and always photographed.

Finishes

Regular, parallel and promo prints are listed separately because they are different cards with different numbers. A foil that has curled slightly is normal for the card stock and does not lower the grade unless it creases.
